Hymn Improvisation Workshop

Visit ourĀ family site for more photos of the outing.

This week, ReflectHymn has had the privilege of welcoming a student to our very first Hymn Improvisation Workshop.

Charissa has been a delight to host and work with. We’ve done two intensive classes each day, plus two plus hours of practice time. We are covering all the basics of improvisation, which is, in short, how to play the notes that aren’t written down in the music. The lesson times have been excellent, thus far, and we are anticipating a great conclusion to the week.

Not to be all work and no fun, so far, we’ve also fit in out-loud reading, crocheting, birthday celebrations, company, cooking, cleaning, and most special of all, a visit to an English Cottagee.
